Project HOME Sets Out to Boost International Student Mobility

Project HOME, short for Home of Mobile Europeans, announces it will receive funding as a Strategic Partnership under the KA2 of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, and operations will commence this October. The project, initiated by a consortium of six organizations coordinated by housing platform HousingAnywhere and executed with the help of supporting partners and stakeholders, will work on boosting international mobility by defining and implementing quality standards for international student and trainee housing, while also creating a shared data information system.

Young professionals in the UK looking to move abroad up by 33% as Brexit deadline approaches

HousingAnywhere analyzed search volumes from the UK to shed light on the impact of the upcoming Brexit on young professionals’ accommodation needs. Although it’s not yet clear what the impact of Brexit will be for these young professionals, the results of the research indicate that possible post-Brexit scenarios are prompting young professionals to consider leaving the UK for Europe.
