Nope! We only charge a one-time commission fee which is automatically deducted from your payout of the first month’s rent.
Our fees allow us to operate our platform and services: a dedicated customer support team, secure payment processing, API integrations and fraud detection. We only charge this small commission fee when a tenant successfully books your place. And remember, on HousingAnywhere you can list an unlimited number of properties and chat with potential tenants for free.
Unfortunately we do not currently offer any other pricing model, so our commission fee is always calculated as 25% of the first month’s rent.
If your tenant cancels within 24 hours of booking your place, they are entitled to a full refund. After that time, you are covered by our landlord guarantee, meaning you will still receive the first month’s rent, even if the tenant cancels. Note that we only payout the first month’s rent 48 hours after the tenant has moved in and provided that the reality of your place matches what was advertised in your listing.
Whilst other platforms charge 5% to 12% of the total contract value, with HousingAnywhere you only pay 25% of the first month’s rent. For instance, a booking that lasts for 10 months with a monthly rent of 600 euros, would require a commission fee of 300-720 euros on other platforms; with HousingAnywhere, you would only pay 150 euros for the same booking!
We currently do not offer this sort of guarantee. However, we do provide an online rent collection system which you can use to request the rent, deposit and any other payments from your tenants.
We currently do not offer such insurance and strongly recommend charging your tenants a security deposit, in order to cover any potential damage. Simply send your tenant a payment request for the deposit via our secure online rent collection system.
