A fully furnished 83 m2 period apartment in Esslingen am Neckar, available for four months from 1 January to 30 April 2027. We live here ourselves and are abroad during this time, so this is a real home rather than a standard furnished rental: high ceilings with original stucco, wooden floorboards throughout, a wide hallway and furniture collected over the years. THE SPACE The living room and dining room are connected by an open doorway and form the bright heart of the apartment. The living room has a proper desk with a work lamp, ready to use for home office. The dining room has a large round table seating six. The bedroom is separate and quiet, with a 1.80 m double bed. The kitchen is its own room with an oven, a full set of crockery and a chequerboard tile floor. The bathroom is finished in marble, with a bathtub, a rain shower and natural daylight. There is also an outdoor area with our furniture, which in practice you will have to yourself, as every other flat in the building has its own balcony. WHAT IS INCLUDED Complete furnishing, some designer pieces. Fully equipped kitchen including crockery and a coffee machine. Washing machine and dryer in the building. A set-up workspace. Internet and electricity stay connected, nothing to register. The German broadcasting fee is covered as well. Bed linen and towels provided. THE AREA Central Esslingen, on the slope below the castle. The old town and market square are a few minutes on foot and the vineyards start just above. Right next door is the Ebershaldenfriedhof, a listed park from 1843 with old trees, which makes an easy running route. There is a bus stop 50 metres from the building with a quick connection to the station. The station itself is a 15 to 20 minute walk, and from there it is about 15 minutes by S-Bahn to Stuttgart main station. PRACTICAL 1,480 EUR per month, all inclusive. This covers rent, all service charges, heating, electricity, internet and the broadcasting fee. No settlement at the end, no surprise bill. Deposit 2,960 EUR, final cleaning 250 EUR once. No private parking space. Street parking, partly free and partly in the residents' parking zone. If you register at this address you can apply for your own residents' parking permit, and we will provide the landlord confirmation you need for registration. Non-smoking apartment. The dates are fixed and an extension is not possible, as we return at the end of April.
