Landlord files a claim
If you miss rent payments or cause damage, the landlord can file a claim.
The insurer assesses the claim
Our trusted insurance partner will assess the landlord’s claim independently and without bias.
The landlord is reimbursed
If the claim is valid, they will reimburse the landlord.
You repay the costs, if any
You remain financially responsible for the costs of missed rent only. The cost of damages above the deposit amount is paid by the insurance company.
How to add the HousingAnywhere Rent Guarantee
You can add the Rent Guarantee in the final step of submitting your rental application. You can also add it to your application before the landlord confirms your stay. Alternatively, the landlord may send you a rental offer, with the condition that you add the Rent Guarantee. In this case, you can accept it when you finalise the payment.
How much does Rent Guarantee cost?
It’s a one-time cost of 3% of your total contract value. The total contract value is calculated by multiplying the monthly rent by the number of months for which you’re renting. For example, if you rent for 5 months and your monthly rent is €1,000, you would pay €150 for Rent Guarantee.
