Spacious 140 m2 family apartment in Alt-Treptow, February to July 2027 We are renting out our home while we are abroad for five months. It suits a family or a household that wants to live in Berlin for a defined period. The apartment is quiet and generous, with fast internet, 4.5 separate rooms and plenty of space, while cafés, restaurants and bars are a short walk away. The apartment Two connected units form one apartment of 140 m2. It is on the fourth floor of a low-energy building from 2019, with a lift. Oak parquet, underfloor heating, floor-to-ceiling windows and a comfortable indoor climate in both winter and summer. The windows face inner courtyards and a quiet side street, so the apartment stays calm despite the central location. There are four separate rooms: two bedrooms with double beds (140 x 200 cm) and two children's or teenagers' rooms with single beds (90 x 200 cm), each with a desk and a wardrobe. The eat-in kitchen of roughly 45 m2 is the heart of the apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen, a large extendable dining table, a sofa corner and a small work area. A second work area is in one of the bedrooms. Because the apartment was originally two units, there is a second kitchen and a second bathroom. The second kitchen has a sofa bed and works as an extra half room. Two balconies, one facing south-east and one north-west, both quiet and green, and particularly good from March onwards. Included Wi-Fi throughout the building, measured at around 38 Mbit, stable and reliable for video calls. Washing machine, two ovens and two induction hobs, two dishwashers, a fridge with three freezer drawers, coffee grinder, and a complete set of crockery, cutlery and cookware. Towels, tea towels and four duvets are provided. Duvet covers, sheets and pillows are not included, so please bring your own or buy them here. The building and the area The complex has several inner courtyards with playgrounds, swings, a seesaw and sandpits. Many families with children and teenagers live here and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The apartment is in Alt-Treptow, two minutes on foot from the next bus, with the Landwehrkanal and Treptower Park close by and Kreuzberg and Neukölln within walking distance. Good to know This is our home, with our pictures, our books and a lot of plants we care about. Watering them is part of the rent and we leave detailed instructions. The tenants named in the contract are the people who live here :-) So subletting or passing the apartment on to others is not possible. And no parties, but Berghain, Kater, Else and other lovely clubs are close.....
