You are welcome to mention your intended total length of stay in your message, however, requests via this platform will be accepted for one month only due to the high platform fees on the owner’s side. **************** Payment & Contract Information **************** 1) The first month’s rent is collected exclusively via HousingAnywhere. 2) HousingAnywhere charges a one-time platform/tenant fee, which is deducted from the owner’s payout. The difference in the first month’s rent (maximum up to EUR 85) must be paid by the tenant together with the security deposit after check-in. **************** Extended Stay & Private Contract **************** 1) If the one-month stay is accepted and both parties agree to continue, the extended stay will be arranged via a private rental contract. 2) After your one-month booking is confirmed, you will be contacted privately via your provided phone number to sign an official rental contract valid under German law between tenant and owner. 3) From the second month onward, rent payments will be handled directly under the private contract, not via HousingAnywhere. **************** Security Deposit **************** 1) The security deposit (caution money) must be paid before check-in or on the day of check-in via bank transfer. 2) For stays longer than one month, the deposit is paid after signing the private contract. 3) The security deposit (caution money) is one month’s rent for a fixed-term stay of up to and including six months, and two months’ rent for a longer, open-ended stay. After you arrive, you have 48 hours to check that the place is as you expected. We only send your money to the landlord if everything is okay.
