Only 300 meters from the sandy beach, Casa Corrado with its spacious outdoor areas makes Mediterranean holiday dreams come true. At nature reserve Oasi Vendicari, 11 km off, lovers of nature find a magnificent coastal landscape and a true paradise for birds waiting to be explored along various hiking trails. Mediterranean and tasteful Casa Corrado is surrounded by a ca. 1,500 m2 garden planted with lemon trees and is, therefore, ideal for families with children. The two terraces, one in front and one at the back of the house, are inviting spots for relaxing, soaking up some sun and leisurely get-togethers. Enjoy your evening meals out in the open, after preparing them on the masonry grill with the fresh ingredients and specialties you have bought. The friendly owner of Casa Corrado is very much concerned about his guests’ wellbeing. The ca. 80 m2 Mediterranean holiday home is tastefully furnished and accommodates up to five persons. Upon entering, you find yourself in the living room, where a wood-fired stove provides for a cozy atmosphere. Furnishing of the nice brick-work eat-in kitchen includes, amongst others, a full oven, a microwave, a toaster and a lot of other useful kitchen devices as well as a German type coffee machine. There are two double bedrooms with decorative rattan style furnishing; one of the bedrooms features an extra bed for a fifth person. The two bathrooms of Casa Corrado are equipped with shower, WC and bidet each. Your holiday home also features SAT-TV, WiFi (unlimited, € 25 for 1-2 weeks), radio, DVD player, safe and air conditioning with integrated heating system. The washing machine is very convenient if you want to stay on for a while. Upon request, the owner provides a children’s cot and a stroller. You can park your car on the fenced premises of Casa Corrado. Surroundings From April to October, the nearest shopping facilities are 200 m off. For the rest of the year, shopping is done at Avola, about six kilometers off. Some of the restaurants at Lido di Noto are open year round. Tips for excursions Profit from the convenient location of Casa Corrado and discover the south-east of Sicily and its numerous sights. From Lido di Noto, the impressive towns of the Sicilian Baroque – Noto, Modica and Ragusa – are easy to reach. 35 km off, Syracuse offers not only a picturesque Old Town, but also a significant archaeological site. At nearby nature reserve Oasi Vendicari, lovers of nature find an untouched coastal landscape and wonderful sandy beaches.
