Once the annual utility statement is available, any unused portion of the retained amount will be refunded. - GEZ (Tv/Broadcasting tax, around €18.36 p/m) is not included in the rental price; this, along with the WiFi, is split and organized by Housemates already in the property. - Under German rental law, we are permitted to increase your rent by an annual rate of 2% per year. - Utility payments are an estimate; they can be slightly more or less than the amount paid. However, this is rare. You will be obligated to take out liability insurance when renting a room from us; this is fairly normal when renting a room in Germany.
