Oltrarno literally means "the other side of the Arno", this is traditionally the artisan area of Florence and its ancient bohemian streets are lined with shops and independent boutiques. It covers the area south of the river and west of the Old Bridge; his spine is Borgo San Jacopo, lined with shops and a set of the twelfth-century tower, Torre dei Marsili and Torre de 'Belfredelli. The food - prepared with traditional ingredients - is a real strength here, with many trendy restaurants and drinks to attract. Do not forget to visit Piazza Della Passera with restaurants and bars for unforgettable moments.
