In den vergangenen Jahren wurde der Stadtteil immer hipper – eben auch wegen seiner kulturellen Vielfalt. Schicke Bars und coole Clubs machten auf; Maxie Eisen, Stanley Diamond, Walon und Rosetti, Vingt Neuf, Pik Dame, Eros 49, Oye, Amp oder die Pizzeria Montana sind auch für manch einen außerhalb Frankfurts ein Begriff. Dazu kommt eine aktive Musik- und Theaterszene, immerhin wartet hier das einzige englischsprachige Theater Frankfurts.
