We have been living in Strasbourg for over 30 years, and in the past, we have taken in university students or interns for a full year or semester. The room which is offered is in an architectural gem of an apartment directly in town (avenue des Vosges, 300 m from the République tram stop) : - 5th-6th floor apartment with elevator - bedroom on the 5th floor of a duplex apartment (built in 1903 - fully renovated "appartement d'architecte") - double bed (140x190), cupboards, bookcases, desk & chair - hardwood floors + area rug - shared bathroom/shower (there are 2 full bathrooms in the apartment) - separate WC - wifi (high speed fiber optic) - the bedroom window overlooks a quiet street with a direct view of the cathedral and the National University Library dome (BNU) - use of laundry room once a week * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Vous souhaitez améliorer votre anglais/français/allemand en vivant dans une famille franco-américaine-allemande au cœur de Strasbourg ? Nous sommes une famille franco-américaine, installée à Strasbourg depuis plus de 30 ans. Dans le passé, nous avons accueilli des étudiants et stagiaires pendant un semestre ou pour une année complete. Nous nous réjouissons à l’idée de poursuivre l’expérience avec des étudiants internationaux (toutes nationalités / langues confondues !) La chambre qui vous est proposée est dans un grand appartement en ville (avenue des Vosges, à 300 m de l'arrêt de tram République) : - Appartement au 5ème et 6ème étage avec ascenseur - chambre au 5ème étage d’un appartement en duplex (construit en 1903 - "appartement d'architecte" entièrement rénové) - lit double (140x190), armoires, bibliothèques, bureau et chaise - parquet au sol + tapis - salle de bain commune (à partager avec un autre étudiant - il y a 2 salles de bain complètes dans l'appartement) - WC séparé - wifi par fibre optique - une fenêtre qui donne sur une rue calme (avec vue sur la verrière de la BNU et la cathédrale au loin ) - possibilité d'utiliser la buanderie une fois par semain...
