Your Room: The room is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need to study comfortably. It includes towels, bedding, and a lockable door for your privacy and security. The Apartment: Upon entering the apartment, you’ll find a hallway with space to hang your coat. On the left side are the bathroom and toilet, where washing facilities are available for your use. Moving forward, you'll enter the kitchen, which is fully equipped with all necessary kitchenware and appliances, including an oven, microwave, large fridge, and induction stove all for your personal use. Location: The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Transwijk-Zuid, which offers a variety of amenities. There is a park right next to the apartment where you can enjoy nature or attend local events such as the Snowball Festival. The apartment is situated between two shopping centers, each with supermarkets, affordable Turkish greengrocers, and various retail stores. IKEA is also just a few blocks away. Public transport is easily accessible the city center of Utrecht is just a 10-minute bus ride away. Cycling is also a quick and affordable option if you prefer the authentic Dutch experience. Shared Responsibility: We believe in shared responsibility when it comes to maintaining the property. You’ll receive a clean room with all necessary furniture, and we ask that you treat it with care. A cleaning service will visit once a month to clean the common areas. We provide this service because we understand you’re busy enjoying your stay in the Netherlands, and we want to maintain high living standards. However, tenants are expected to take out the trash, do their own dishes, keep their personal room tidy, and maintain the shared spaces throughout the rest of the month. We try to assist with this once per month as well. Finances: The rent includes all utilities: gas, water, electricity, internet, Netflix (if available), monthly cleaning, and city taxes. Please note there is a one-time service fee of €100 for the entire stay. Check-in/out: The room is available from 2 January 2026. We can schedule the key handover in consultation. The monthly rent includes fixed advance payments for energy and water. If your energy usage stays within standard levels, no extra costs will apply. However, if energy consumption exceeds the norm, additional charges may be invoiced.
