Our house is on quiet street yet so close to downtown. It's five minutes from the University of Iceland and you will not need a car or even a bus card. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment (a duplex) is on the second floor and this room is on the third floor - fairly small but you'll have access to a fully equipped kitchen and of course the shared bathroom. It comprises a double bed (queen size - 153cm), nightstand, double drawer, clothes rack, desk with chair on wheels and a lounge chair. The window faces west so you'll enjoy the most amazing sunsets early in the fall. The ceilings are lowered so it's not convenient for very tall individuals. Intended for an individual only - not a couple. A small grocery store is across the street, four bakeries nearby and the geothermal swimming pool is within ten minutes on foot. The owner lives in the apartment with one youth and a black labrador (very kind and gentle female dog). One other room is rented out for an exchange student....
