THE NIJHOFF NORTHROOM To rent a fourniture Northroom near city and park Sonsbeek in Arnhem. The light NorthRoom is to rent for only one person. The room in the house is a real Spacious places to Rest or Study. The room has a nice wooden desk to work on and a good office chair. There is WIFI. There is a clothes-press wardrobe. In this wardrobe are extra blankets. Thera are towels. A Marble bathroom with bath, shower, wc you share. Sharing also wasmachine, dryer and iron. At first floor we sharing wc, the Kitchen with herbs and balcony. All in means also Electra, Water, Light. All in pro month. So, if you want to meet Arnhem and it’s inhabitants you will feel right at home with us at the Nijhoff. The room is a short distance from park & city, culture, shops, cafe's. Interaction I am a filmmaker work since 1992. I am also teacher; Drama, film and Dutch. I live 30 years in this house/office. I like to inspiring people, or help to find the way in Arnhem. My nice boyfriend stays sometimes in the apartment too. He likes to cook for the group. There is a citymap on the room and a schedule for the bus. Also information about ARTEZ, HAN, MUSEA & ZOO. What to use? Both rooms Nord and southroom wich are being rent are also the rooms where the bed is and an own refrigerater. One on the Northside and one on the Southside. The rooms are around 18 square meter. The rest of the apartment which you share with the landlord are : kitchen, second toilet, bathroom, washroom with washingmachine, dining room to eat is around, south balcony: total 100 square meter. You may use at the first floor, the kitchen for cooking or make your breakfast. There is a refridges on each room which you can use as a storage for fresh food. You may use the washing machine, and the flat-iron. The Southbalkony is the place to smoke. Other Things. The bathroom is shared with other guests and there is a non-smoking policy in the house ... also for myself. Smoking is allowed on the balconies. Sometimes Frits from next door visit us: red striped tomcat. Rules A hygienically habit. We put our shoes downstairs by the entrance, or take them up to the room. The steps have naturally material and the floors are from wood. At the first stock we share the watercloset. At the second floor the watercloset is only to pee. Have the responsiblity for my fourniture and house. The house is (1915) and always dusty. So cleaning the room every week is not a problem for you. When you destroy something you repair this or find another. On the south balcony. We put glas, plastic, paper and food on the different buckets Outside the house is a bleu bucket for paper. Our Neighbourhood Around the streetcorner is the 'de nieuweHommel', a restaurant has also wifi-workspace. You can meets locals have a thee, a coffee or a breakfast. Nearby: Cafe Nescio runned by a young coppel. The new Hommel is a populair Neighbourplace were you can work and the is free WIFI. Eetcafé Beide Dames', 2 min. walk, and 5 min.walk is restaurant 'GOED' in the Modekwartier One minute walk to the Sonsbeekparc. You get five opportunities to eat or drink. In the Sonsbeekvila, (the white house on the hill), or the Palatijn, (former Roserie), Sonsbeekboerderij (former farm) or visit in the Dutch WaterMuseum or the Watermill, where you can eat, have a cop of thee and buy breadflour. In 40 minutes, start at The Nijhoff, cross the Sonsbeekpark and you arrive at the Burgers Zoo or Open Air Museum. Or busline 3 Jacob Cremerstraat (opposite cafe Nescio) to Burgers Zoo or Open Air Museum. Acces De Nijhoff can be easily reached from the trainstation, Using public transportation (busstop Jacob Cremerstraat) or is a 10 minute walk along the park. You can also find a taxi at the centrumsite of the railwaystation by the hall with the regio and citybusses The citytaxi standplace is in a courner at busstation. A rit from central to the Nijhoffstaat 159 cost€ 7,50. The location has easy access to the A12, A50 and A325 motorways and parking spots are available nearby....
