Private attic floor in eco co‐living house – Gentbrugge (Ghent) About the room(s) You rent the full attic floor of a shared house in Gentbrugge, consisting of two very small rooms on the 3rd floor. - Total surface: about 12 m2 (two tiny rooms together) - Furnished in a minimalist way (mattress on the floor, basic furniture, storage) - Best for someone who just needs a quiet place to sleep and work - Not suitable if you need a big bedroom or a lot of belongings After the first year, the monthly amount can be adjusted downwards depending on your actual energy consumption and contribution to the house (cleaning, maintenance, etc.). For shorter stays there is a higher price, according to the platform’s pricing settings. About the house – Cyclo Casa Cyclo Casa is a small, international, eco‐minded co‐living project in a renovated 1911 townhouse in Gentbrugge. Common areas you share with the other housemates: - Fully equipped kitchen - Cozy living room - Garden with deck/terrace - Bike storage and small DIY/repair space in the garage - Outdoor sauna The house is non‐smoking, calm and respectful – not a party house. Location Address: Walstraat 100, 9050 Gentbrugge (Ghent) - Quiet residential area with green spaces nearby - About 10 minutes by bike to Ghent city centre, UGent and Gent‐Sint‐Pieters station - Tram and several buses within walking distance - Supermarkets and fitness close by A free bicycle is available for daily use. Housemates & atmosphere You will live with several international housemates (working people and PhDs, 20s–40s). The atmosphere is: - Calm and independent (everyone has their own life) - Social but not intrusive – we like occasional shared dinners, brunches or movie nights - Eco‐minded: we pay attention to energy, water and waste Practical details & rules - Monthly contribution includes: energy, water, heating, internet, basic shared supplies (soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, etc.). - Weekly cleaning rotation: every housemate cleans a specific area once a week. - No pets (allergies & hygiene). - Quiet hours in the evenings and at night; respect for work/study times. - Registration/domicile at the address is possible. There may be a further reduction in what you pay if, after the first year, your consumption is low and you take on extra responsibilities (maintenance, organisation, helping with guests), to be discussed together.
