Cool that you’re interested in the room! From February 2026, I’ll be going to Spain for Erasmus, so I am looking for a sub-tenant. The room is available for sublet from 01/02/2026 to 30/06/2026. City registration is possible, you will get an official sublease contract from the AKAFÖ. This posting is only aimed at students studying or coming to study at one of Bochum's universities. The room is bright, has two windows, and is located in the student residence Auf der Papenburg. It is fully furnished. Thanks to its southeast-facing orientation, a lot of light comes in in the morning – great for waking up. The walls are white. The furnishings include a single bed, a really wide desk right by the window (it’s as wide as the entire room – perfect for two workstations), a drawer unit, a wardrobe, and an additional cabinet for things like books or supplements. There are currently two chairs in the room; if you only need one, I’m happy to remove the other. When you enter the apartment, you first step into the hallway, where you can hang up your jacket. On the right is the kitchen – the heart of the shared apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped: an induction cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, plenty of cupboards, and a dining area with three chairs. The table is great for having breakfast, or you can simply place the air fryer on it while cooking. The apartment comes with a shared bathroom with a toilet and shower. The room is located in the student residence Auf der Papenburg in the Querenburg district. On foot, you can reach the Unicenter in about 10 minutes through the Laerholz and the university in around 15 minutes. If you don’t feel like going for a walk that day, there’s a bus stop right in front of the residence. By bus, it takes about 4 minutes to get to RUB. You can get to the city center via the U35, either from the Ruhr-Universität station (right by the Unicenter) or from Markstraße, which you can reach on foot in about 15 minutes. There is also a popular Nextbike station directly opposite the residence, where you can rent a bike and ride anywhere. Students get 60 minutes free every day ;) Since the residence belongs to the Akafö, you must be enrolled at a university or college in Bochum and have a current certificate of enrollment. The deposit is €700 – this is the standard amount required by the Akafö. We’ll handle this between ourselves, and of course you’ll get it back if everything is in order. The sublease contract will then be officially concluded through the Akafö. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at any time, either via a DM or via (hidden) at (hidden). I am looking forward to hearing from you!...
