Neighbourhood and transportation: Located in the charming and quietly sophisticated neighbourhood of Ixelles, the street offers a serene and picturesque address in a corner of Brussels that feels both intimate and community‐oriented. The triangular square itself is steeped in history, having been created in 1904 to improve access to the local school and featuring a central bronze statue, L’adolescence, which gives the place a warm, cultured character. This area is currently benefiting from a sustainable neighbourhood redevelopment, including green upgrades to the Plaine de la Petite Suisse — a hidden, accessible garden just behind the square with play areas, sports fields, and shared communal space. The municipality’s plans also include a renovated “Rotonde” community building, reinforcing the sense of local identity and inclusion. Right on the square is the friendly La Petite Suisse bar‐brasserie, a warm, neighbourhood spot perfect for morning coffee, relaxed lunches, or evening gatherings — adding a cosy, social touch to the street life. For families, there’s a public playground and outdoor sports area nearby (ping-pong, mini‐football, sandpit) under the commune’s youth program. All in all, the location is a wonderful address for someone who values peaceful elegance, community feeling, and green, well-planned urban living in a historically rich part of Ixelles. 💢💢...
