Finely furnished three bedroom apartment of 180 square meters in a very antique listed building. The living room is about 60 square meters with a lovely and large fireplace. The apartment has 2 bathrooms and part of it is inside a military tower built in the 6th century AD at the border of the Eastern Roman Empire with the Lombards who had invaded Italy in 568 AD. At Castello Monticelli you can feel the history in every corner. It is located almost exactly between Rome and Florence, at about 2.5 hours from each city. Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is 15 minutes away. The entrance of the apartment is on the first floor. Three bedrooms are inside a military tower which has stone walls that are 1.6 meters thick.
