While it's a 5-bedroom house (4 double rooms and 1 single), we'll store our personal belongings in 2 rooms, leaving you with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the garden, and all living spaces. We're seeking someone who will care for our home, be neighbourly, and enjoy the space until our return in August 2026. Perfect for a family ( choose a child's bedroom with bunkbeds or a standard double room) or a professional couple relocating to London. It's an ideal base to explore the city while finding your permanent home. - Classic London terraced house built in the 1930s. There's a small front garden with free (unreserved) street parking and a private garden/patio at the rear. The house spans three floors, with bathrooms on both the ground and first floors. - Bedroom 1 - Large master bedroom featuring three built-in wardrobes, a king-size bed, an antique fireplace, and high ceilings. - Bedroom 2 - Double room overlooking the back garden, with a double bed, wardrobe, and office desk with chair. - Bedroom 3 - Children's bedroom with built-in wardrobe, bunk beds, desk, and wall-mounted TV. - Bedroom 4 - Loft 'Penthouse' - spacious loft conversion (completed 2024) featuring two built-in wardrobes and skylights. Aircon. Note: The house also includes 1 small single bedroom we plan to use for storage. You can choose any three rooms from those available, based on your needs. - Two Bathrooms: The ground floor features a family bathroom with toilet, bath/shower, and sink. The first floor has a shower room with shower, toilet, and sink. A separate utility area next to the kitchen houses the boiler and washer-dryer. - Kitchen: With double doors leading to the back garden. Features a gas stove, electric oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. What’s the area like? - Streatham / Norbury is in zone 3, part of central London while having large open parks and spaces close by. - 🏘️ Our road is family centric - all the immediate neighbours have children and own their homes. We have a community CCTV on the front of our homes and look out for each other, accepting Amazon packages and deliveries. - 🌳 Streatham Common and Norbury Park 5-10 min walk. - 🚅 Direct trains to London Bridge (32 mins) London Victoria (22 mins) London Kings Cross (30 mins) from nearby stations: Norbury, Streatham Common and Streatham. - 🚌 Buses 109 / 250 to Brixton as well as 24 hr night bus to central London. We’re renting below market rates because we’re looking for a specific kind of tenant that can care for the home while we’re away. Love our home like we do!
