Supermarkets are close by. Within walking distance are the splendid Indro Montanelli Gardens where the Civic Museum of Natural History, the Planetarium and Palazzo Dugnani are located. If you love walking, you can immerse yourself in the streets of the centre with its wonderful neoclassical buildings and reach Piazza San Babila in about fifteen minutes.
