Description

Welcome to live in a quiet area off town close to Jägersro, but still with easy communications to the city centre as you will live at the end bus stop of bus 5 that goes through the complete Amiralsgatan (=through the city centre all the way to the sea). This bus goes very often ans is called the “quick bus” as the road has its own road files for it. You have 10 minutes walk to bus number 170 to Hyllie and Lund. I also lend out a bike for you during your stay here to make it easy for you to go and buy food nearby.
The house is also very quiet as I (54 yers old) live here myself with my teenage son 50%. I rent out the bottom floor simply because I have more space than I needn’t and need the extra money. As I get so many couples who want to book a viewing, I want to clarify here in the beginning of this text that I only rent out to one single person. The rent is based on the costs for one person who uses electricity and warm water keeping in mind that the cost for this is very high here in Malmö. This is called “zone 4” in Sweden, and we pay much more than the rest of Sweden for this. More people = more water, electricity and noise. You will not let any friend or partner move in during your stay. Besides your own bedroom, living room and bathroom (shower, renovated in 2022), you get: - A separate entrance (Yale-code) - A kitchen pentry with a separate small oven - Wifi - Free parking space if you need it A big hallway/room with closets The complete floor is 128 square meters. I wrote 70 in the ad just approximately as I do not count the hallway/wardrobe room. I separated our floors with a wall/door with sound-blocking panels in from of the indoor stairs. As we share roof, we co-live, but the wall gives us our private spaces. If you need something such as to iron a shirt, just ask me. We take a cup of tea/coffee once a week as we co-live in a way where we respect each others privacy and are aware of us sharing the same roof and not treat each others as the other person doesn’t exist. The wall gives us both more privacy, but does not block all sound (= we will respect each others not screaming anytime or making loud noise when its late at night). You will notice me once a week when I will do my laundry in the washing machine next to your entrance. I use the front door with the Yale code. My current guest lives here until the end of 2024 why I set the date for the viewings from the first of November. You can view it before too. Just text me in the chat (I hope that is possible, otherwise pick a date in November and text me). Hope to hear for you, all the best until then, Eli...

How to book this property

When you find a property you like it's fairly simple to make a booking. Both the tenant and the landlord need to confirm before completing a booking. This is how it works:

  1. Select your dates to check for availability.
  2. Contact the landlord by clicking on the contact button.
  3. Introduce yourself to the landlord. Ask any questions you might have.
  4. When you are ready to book, send a booking request.
  5. When the landlord approves and the payment is completed, you have successfully booked the property.

You don’t need to perform a viewing on HousingAnywhere, here's why:

  1. All of the properties on HousingAnywhere have pictures and a clear description. If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the landlord.
  2. Restricting viewings provides equal chances for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad.
  3. HousingAnywhere makes sure the property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the landlord after you have successfully moved in.
After you have made a booking, the contact details of the landlord will be shared with you. You can get in touch with the landlord directly, or keep using the HousingAnywhere chat. All the successive rental costs can be paid securely through HousingAnywhere.
