The area is lively and fun, as the Navigli is one of the main hubs of Milan's nightlife (be aware of noise on weekends). The apartment is located in a classic Milanese casa di ringhiera, on the first floor (no elevator) of a building that directly overlooks the Navigli, an ancient system of navigable canals that has crossed Milan since the Renaissance.
