Picture yourself waking up in the mornings and walking out onto a terra-cotta terrace as you sit down with your morning coffee. Imagine the perfect place for your yoga practice or meditation. A dream house, where standing in the lounge and looking out through the huge window, you have a birds-eye view over the tree tops to the rolling (hidden) waves in the near distance. The villa is set on a shared property, where you will enjoy your private pool and garden. The property is located in the typical small village of Charneca, only 10 minutes’ drive from Cascais and Estoril. The stunning (hidden) beach (famous for its surfing and windsurfing, as well as its restaurant/bar perched on top of the beach) is a couple of minutes’ drive away, or 15-20 minutes’ walk from the house, through a beautiful green valley in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. In Charneca, there is a small supermarket, a couple of local cafés, a restaurant, an equestrian centre, a tennis court, as well as a bus stop. Within a couple of minutes’ drive, you will reach the nearby villages of Aldeia de Juso and Areia. Aldeia de Juso is the place to go if you want fresh local produce, and Areia is the “surfer hub” of Cascais, being right next to the (hidden) sand-dunes, with a wide variety of local cafes and lively restaurants, suited to everyone’s price range! Charneca has a typical "local life" feel with a welcoming community, and is only 2,5 km away from the A5, the motorway connection to Portugal’s bustling capital, Lisbon! A few minutes' drive leads you to the oceanside road from (hidden) to Cascais, along which you can find some of the best seafood restaurants in the region. Our monthly price includes all charges, as well as weekly cleaning and change of sheets, pool and garden maintenance, central heating, and 500kg of firewood to use for the fireplace for the added 'cosy' factor during the colder months...
