It is home to beautifull residential houses, some of them turned into embassies; a few museums like Antient Art Museum and the river view “miradouro”; the Basilica da Estrela and Estrela XIX century garden; and the ever present river Tejo you can see from almost every street of Lapa. It is well served of local shops like pharmacy, bakery, café, ATM, grocery and so on. You will not find bars in the neighbourhood, and just a few restaurants, including one of the most traditional Fado houses in Lisbon, “Sr Vinho” and "Clube dos Jornalistas" restaurant. You will need to walk direction Santos (10 minutes) to find more offer on restaurants and night life. Trams and buses will take you directly to almost everywhere in the city. From the flat you are 10 minutes walking to the mythical 28 tram; 15 minutes walking to the Estrela Garden; 20 minute walking to Cais do Sodré; 10 minutes walking to the Santos train station that leads to Cascais line and all it ́s beaches. Subway will soon be open close by, 10 minutes walking, but while it is not, you have Rato station (h It has one double bedroom and one single bedroom both facing East side and the street; one bathroom; one living room; one small working area; dining area connecting to the patio facing West and the backside of the building.
