LOCATION Regarding the location of the apartment, it is located in the Old Town of Bilbao, 2 minutes from the Ribera Market and the San Antón church, one of the oldest churches in Bilbao. Less than 10 minutes walk from Arenal and 15 minutes walk from the beginning of Gran Vía, which is the commercial area of Bilbao and where El Corte Inglés is located. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the Casco Viejo Metro that connects Bilbao with different parts of Bizkaia and Universities, 3 minutes from the tram stop that connects very well with Bilbao and is comfortable and very fast (it stops at the University of Deusto ), and 3 minutes from the Bilbobus stop that also connects very well with the rest of the areas of Bilbao. You are also a 15-minute walk from the Abando Renfe Cercanías and Larga Distancia train station and the m(hidden)izkaibus station, where you can catch buses to the UPV/EHU in Leioa Campus. In addition, the taxi station is 1 minute walk from the apartment. SERVICES Thanks to the fact that the apartment is very central, it has all the necessary services within walking distance. There is a large Carrefour supermarket 1 minute walk away, and also a smaller supermarket that opens on Sundays and holidays 3 minutes walk away, a BM 5 minutes walk away, etc. Being located in the Casco Viejo area of Bilbao is a privilege since this area has pedestrian streets full of shops and historic buildings. In terms of health, we have two clinics very close, one a 1-minute walk away and the other a 10-minute walk away. The closest hospital would be the Basurto Public Hospital, which is easily connected by tram as it leaves at the hospital door. The closest pharmacy to the apartment is a 3-minute walk away.
