Unsere Gästewohnung ist zum Teil im Dachgeschoss der ehemaligen Scheune und zum Teil im Obergeschoß des Hauptgebäudes gelegen. Sie besticht durch ihre imposante Deckenhöhe von gut 7m im Wohn- und Essbereich. Schaut man hier nach oben, treffen vier Dachflächen aufeinander. Es entsteht fast der Eindruck als stünde man in einer Kathedrale aus Holz. Man kann hier prima entspannen oder in der Abgeschiedenheit in Ruhe arbeiten. Generell haben wir bei unserer Baustelle auf ökologische Baustoffe und gute Gestaltung Wert gelegt. Die Inneneinrichtung spannt den Bogen vom Baujahr des Hauses (1917) bis hin zur Gegenwart und wurde teilweise von uns selbst entworfen und gefertigt. Fundstücke, die uns während der Bauphase in die Hände fielen, erzählen ein wenig von der Geschichte des Hauses. Wir selber leben mit unseren beiden Hunden und Kindern im Erdgeschoß des Hauptgebäudes und nutzen das Hof Innere. Als Gäste habt ihr jedoch ein eigenes Treppenhaus (das ihr euch mit unserem Mieter teilt) und seit somit für euch. Ausserdem gibt es einen Teil des Gartens (Hof Aussenseite), der nur für unsere Gäste und unseren sehr netten Mieter reserviert ist. Dieser nutzt den Garten allerdings nur äußerst (!) sporadisch. Hier gibt es ab sofort einen überdachten Essbereich mit Feuerstelle und Sichtschutz für Privatsphäre. Das Doppelbett hat eine Länge von 1,90m, die übrigen Betten sind 2m lang. Der Schlafbereich im Spitzboden ist offen (hat also keine eigene Tür). Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten bestehen in Schlafzimmer 1 in Form von Schiebeläden. Trockner und Waschmaschine befinden sich im Badezimmer. So klein Rüdnitz auch ist, gibt es hier drei Hofläden. Gemüse, Fleisch, Eier und manchmal (je nach Angebotslage) Käse, Saft und Honig sind also zu Fuß erreichbar – alles bio, alles regional ;) Ab Dezember 2022 wird Rüdnitz dann auch einen eigenen Supermarkt haben. Für E-Autos steht eine Ladebox mit 22kw Ladeleistung bereit. Der Verbrauch wird separat abgerechnet...
