Description

Apartment of about 50 square meters located on the second floor with an elevator! The apartment consists of an entrance hall, a living room/kitchen, a sleeping area, a bathroom with window and two small balconies. The apartment is entirely exposed on the planted internal courtyard and for this reason it is particularly quiet. It is not equipped with air conditioning but in the summer months we can provide fans on request. The interior spaces are divided in a functional way and equipped with everything needed to feel at home. From the entrance, crossing a small hallway, you enter the living area/kitchen of the apartment, furnished with a three-seater sofa which can be transformed into a single bed if necessary, a television and a table for four people. The open kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking (Nespresso coffee machine, oven, gas burners and fridge). Also from the hallway you enter the complete bathroom with shower where there is also a washing machine and the bedroom where, in addition to the double bed, there is space for a large wardrobe with hangers and a table for those who want to work smart. The heating is centralized. Very close to the apartment, there are shops of all kinds: a large supermarket (Carrefour), McDonald's, Upim, bars, restaurants, pizzerias, bakeries, pharmacies, greengrocers, haberdashery, fishmongers, telephone shops, post offices, pastry shops, newsstands, etc. ************************************** You are on the edge of the characteristic "Isola" district, the historic district of Milan which derives its name from the construction of the railway which physically isolated this area from the rest of the city, transforming it into a sort of island.Developed as an area with a strong working and artisan vocation, the Isola district was transformed after the second post-war in a commercial area, becoming a symbol of the urban and social regeneration that has invested in Milan. Porta Nuova/Garibaldi/Vertical Forest is a modern and lively district with a beautiful park and many shops and can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Brera is about 20/25 minutes away on foot and is a traditional "Milanese" style neighbourhood. A few minutes from the apartment is the Frida bar, a place especially loved by young people with a nice atmosphere. Also nearby is the Bar Bah, the Cru wine bar, the Café Gorille (just below the Bosco Verticale) and the Deus Ex Machina, excellent for aperitifs. One of the most famous jazz clubs in Milan is located right in the Isola district: the Blue Note, which boasts highly respected international artists. It is also a restaurant that offers creative gastronomic specialties ranging from typical Lombard cuisine to international cuisine. For those who want to try true Milanese cuisine, the Corner Milano, the Trattoria dal Verme, Guyot for risotto and the "Cotoletta" different from the traditional but very good are excellent. Here you can find commercial activities of all kinds, from the more deeply rooted and artisanal ones to the more modern ones. The Sanctuary of Santa Maria alla Fontana is a stone's throw away. It stands on an ancient source believed to be miraculous. In 1506, Charles II d'Amboise, governor of Milan under French rule, ordered the construction of the sanctuary after receiving a miraculous healing: the building became one of the most important health facilities in the city, together with the Lazzaretto. In the room of the miraculous source, rearranged with spouts of gushing water, there are instead singular sixteenth-century frescoes attributed to the workshop of Bernardino Luini. Continuing, in about 10 minutes you reach the new Milan Business Center in the Porta Nuova district with its famous square Piazza Gae Aulenti and the famous and award-winning Bosco Verticale. Continuing on, you get to Corso Como, Piazza XXV Aprile and Corso Garibaldi. ************************************************ In addition to being extremely served, this area allows you to move around the city comfortably and quickly, thanks to the many public transports (bus lines, trams and metro stops). Buses, trams, metro reach the station and the center in 20 minutes. At the crossroads between Viale Stelvio and Viale Zara there is also the Zara stop of metro line 5 which reaches City Life in 10 minutes and the San Siro stadium in 20 minutes. The stop of line 3 (Maciachini) of the underground is only 5 minutes away and with this you can reach Piazza del Duomo in about 15 minutes and the Central Station. Not far away (about 10 minutes on foot) you can also reach the metro line 3 (Zara), as well as the Garibaldi station from which trains leave for many destinations including the Malpensa Express for the airport. ************************************************ To yours arrival you will find: - Ready beds (with the exception of sofa beds for which the set of sheets, blankets and pillows ready for use will be prepared). - Towels (one shower towel and one face towel for each guest). - Starting Pack: initial supply including laundry tablets, toilet paper, hand soap, shower gel and bags for recycling. *********************************************** When you are in the apartment, you are kindly requested to respect the following simple rules: -Do not smoke in the apartment -All objects in the apartment are at your disposal for the duration of your stay, leave them in their place at the end of your stay so that subsequent guests can use them in turn -All kitchen utensils are at your disposal, after use, please put them clean and dry in their place. How to book this property

When you find a property you like it's fairly simple to make a booking. Both the tenant and the landlord need to confirm before completing a booking. This is how it works:

  1. Select your dates to check for availability.
  2. Contact the landlord by clicking on the contact button.
  3. Introduce yourself to the landlord. Ask any questions you might have.
  4. When you are ready to book, send a booking request.
  5. When the landlord approves and the payment is completed, you have successfully booked the property.

You don’t need to perform a viewing on HousingAnywhere, here's why:

  1. All of the properties on HousingAnywhere have pictures and a clear description. If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the landlord.
  2. Restricting viewings provides equal chances for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad.
  3. HousingAnywhere makes sure the property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the landlord after you have successfully moved in.
After you have made a booking, the contact details of the landlord will be shared with you. You can get in touch with the landlord directly, or keep using the HousingAnywhere chat. All the successive rental costs can be paid securely through HousingAnywhere.
