The house is located in the most characteristic district of Florence, a few steps from the historical centre, Palazzo Pitti (Medici), Piazzale Michelangelo and all the most important places of interest. Ideal for students and to experience the city of Florence as a true Florentine. Adjacent to the beautiful Porta Romana,which was the ancient entrance to the city,it is the ideal stay for art lovers. The 19th century stately flat,on the third and last floor without lift,renovated with floor heating,air conditioning and every comfort(king size bed,living room,shared kitchen with gas stove,fridge,freezer,microwave,kettle,etc.) is a few steps away from the main tourist attractions and next to one of the most beautiful squares of the city. The room has two comfortable double beds, wardrobe, table, bookshelves, and is tastefully furnished by the artist owner. The private bathroom has a bathtub, washbasin, toilet, bidet and features an original mosaic. On the ground floor it is possible to use the bathroom with shower and washing machine on request.The whole flat is equipped with heating,air conditioning and wi-fi internet access. Its location is perfect, within walking distance you will find everything you are looking for, shops, restaurants, pizzerias, street food, the local market in Piazza Santo Spirito, bakeries, supermarkets, shops. The area is served by buses and taxis, the historical centre is easily reachable on foot as well as Palazzo Pitti with the magnificent Boboli Gardens, the Art School, the Ponte Vecchio,the Duomo and the Museums. The house is managed by the owner who can help you and act as your guide to better enjoy the city of Florence and its surroundings. A cat lives in the house.
