As one of the capital's leading shopping areas, it includes a number of high-end boutiques from young adults to casual fashion to prestigious haute couture from Greek and international designers. One of its main shopping streets, Voukourestiou Street, is now known for its jewelry. Museums and galleries also abound in Kolonaki. A walk across the street from Vasilissis Sofias Avenue is the Byzantine Museum and the War Museum of Athens. There are a plethora of available options for nightlife, including bars, eateries, and tavernas. The main Kolonaki Square is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The Lycabettus Funicular, a funicular railway, links Kolonaki to the summit of Lycabettus hill. Kolonaki also hosts 2 metro stations, Evengelismos, and Megaro Mousikis. City Tax is 0.50 euros per day for the period Nov - Feb and 1.5 euros per day for the period March - Oct (For detached houses over 80 sqm the City Tax is 4 euros per day for the period Nov - Feb and 10 euros per day for the period March - Oct). 3).
