The local square, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, sunset drinks, or dinner as well as a variety of boutique shops, art galleries, hairdressers, etc. is just a 5-minute walk. The private condominium has its own private swimming pool, or the beach is less than 10 minutes, walking. Getting around A car is not needed unless you want to travel beyond Cascais, for which there is the train into Lisbon, and buses to Sintra. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment, and further routes stop within 200-300m. The circuit bus around Cascais stops just outside of the apartment, and the bus will drop you at the Cascais train station. The train into Lisbon runs regularly all day along the coastline, a beautiful experience. At the station, you can also pick up a rental bike.
