💕Sant'Ana Cottage💕 A lovely little vintage cottage built in the late 1940s and comfortably decorated for a perfect holiday. Enjoy the sunny outdoor terrace for relaxing and dining. This gorgeous little place is idyllically located in the heart of a typical Portuguese community in Cascais. You have the option to relax in a little reading corner, lounge on the sofa and watch your favorite series on Netflix or just quietly enjoy a glass of wine or breakfast on the private terrace. The space is cozy and suited to a maximum of 4 person sharing (preferably 2 adults and 2 children as this is not a large cottage. We have tried to decorate it in a very comfortable way in order to give you the best holiday experience ever. We don't want to hide the fact that the washing machine is placed on the patio and the oven is an older gas oven so please be aware of these things if you do book our lovely little home. Other things to note #While the kitchen does provide a gas oven and stovetop, due to its simplicity and compact layout, its only really suitable for basic cooking.# Please note that all extras such as cots and high chairs are available for hire. Its provided: -Linen for each bed (1 set) -Towels for each guest (1 set – bath towel and hand towel) -Hygiene products – soap, shampoo, and toilet paper (for the first night only) Cascais, Lisboa, Portugal Part of Cobre neighbourhood, just a short distance from the Cascais Fire Station and CUF hospital, this small little enclave of cottages is tucked away just above the river “Ribeira das Vinhas” and the valley that follows down to Cascais. It has a supermarket at the end of the road and a coffee shop just 300m. You can buy fresh bread locally each morning and soak up the local Portuguese community going about their everyday life in the small village called SantAna. Getting around There is a bus which leaves about 50m from the cottage into the town centre. Alternatively, you can hire bicycles and cycle along the cycle paths down to the centre, the marina, or the beaches. It would be a 15-minute walk to the centre of Cascais, 20 minutes to the Cascais train station, and a couple of minutes more to the closest beach. The marina is a 30-minute walk. It's less than a 5-minute journey to the centre by car or bus. Utility bills are included up to a maximum amount of 170 euros Please be aware that HousingAnywhere is an online booking platform.
