La stazione ferroviaria della città dista circa 2,4 chilometri ed è facilmente raggiungibile con mezzi pubblici. L’accesso diretto al lungo argine del fiume Piovego permette di immettersi direttamente nell'anello ciclo-pedonale di Padova, che consente di spostarsi in bicicletta in totale sicurezza lungo oltre 120 chilometri di itinerari ciclabili o in cui fare splendide passeggiate all'aperto. Il complesso risulta quasi totalmente racchiuso da recinzioni e cancellate in ferro.
