The big bedroom has a double bed (boxspring, 180cm x 210cm), a cupboard and 2 windows to the back courtyard with sun blinds and curtains. The bathroom is equipped with shower, bathtub, hairdryer, wash machine, tumble dryer and has 2 windows. The second bedroom/office has 2 windows to the quiet street with blackout curtains and is currently empty except for a table, but can be equipped with a 140cm wide bed if needed. The walk-in wardrobe has several cupboards, a drying rack, ironing board and and iron. The upper (rooftop) floor houses a big and bright loft-type room with a big open kitchen, dining and living area and has air-condition. There is also a separate toilet on the upper floor. The Kitchen is fully equipped and has a kitchen island, stove, oven, American fridge and freezer, dishwasher, toaster and a kitchen machine. The dining area has a wooden table with 6 chairs and a big cupboard. The living area has a small couch, a bookshelf and access to the balcony. The south-facing balcony has 2 wooden chairs and a marquee. Metal stairs lead from the balcony to the roof top terrace. The roof top terrace has 2 lounge chairs, a table, a parasol and a box for the pillows. Both, the balcony and the rooftop terrace have a watering system for the plants. The stairs to the roof top terrace are shared with the neighbours’ apartment. There is no formal separation between this apartments’ balcony/terrace and the neighbours balcony/terrace which requires respect for each others privacy. Having said that, our neighbours are great ! The apartment is situated in a quiet area on the border between the 17th and 18th district and has excellent links to the public transport network. Line 42 (18 minutes to the city centre and University, 7 minutes to AKH – central hospital), Line 9 (20 minutes to main train station Westbahnhof) and line 15A (20 minutes to castle Schönbrunn). If you want to park your car on the streets, you need a prepaid parking voucher (eg “Easypark”). Supermarket, pharmacy and tobacconist can be reached in 2-5 minutes walking. The shopping street “Währinger Straße” and the scenic daily market “Kutschkermarkt” can be reached in 10 minutes walking. No pets and no smoking. The apartment is especially suitable for couples, for expat families that need a short-term housing or for business people who need temporary housing during their project term in Vienna.
