Description

Elegant and quaint two bedroom mansard apartment for vacation rentals in Bologna, located on the third and last floor of a typical medieval building (without elevator) in the historical center, at a few steps from Piazza Maggiore. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns. This 100 sqm apartment is the ideal solution for anyone looking for an accommodation in Bologna city center, immersed in the atmosphere of the old town. The accommodation opens onto a corridor, illuminated by a skylight, which leads to the various rooms of the house. The bright and spacious living room is located at the end of the corridor and is furnished with a comfortable 3-person sofa that dominates the scene, creating a perfect relaxation area where you can read or watch the 32" flat-screen TV. The space that opens next to the sofa has been used to create a very pleasant dining area, where a crystal table for 6 people stands out, complete with seats with a minimalist design. Behind the table is a bookcase occupied by an immense collection of CDs and DVDs. The kitchen, which is accessed from the living room, is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, electric oven and coffee machine. Access to the spacious master bedroom is very choreographic: it is a hand-made and wrought iron decorated window that gives a vintage touch to the atmosphere of the property, where modern design marries delightfully with classic details. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm), a sideboard and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom is located in front of the entrance door and is furnished with a chest of drawers and a double futon bed. As the room is a mansard, the sloping roof prevents from exploiting the full height of the room. The last room is the laundry room, complete with a washing machine and some shelves for laundry. An ottoman bed (80 x 195 cm) is part of the facilities and permits to have an additional single bed at disposal. The bathroom is fitted with black and white tiles and with a shower. Facilities: - Internet ADSL with Wi-Fi - Washing machine, clothes rack, iron and ironing board - Dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster - AC through a split in the central hall The rental price includes the initial and the final cleaning, the rent, the condominium expenses, Italian taxes (television and garbage), WiFi internet and bills. For electricity and gas, in particular, we include a forfait of € 110 per month. Only if you exceed this forfait, you would have to pay the difference. Area: The apartment is located in the heart of Bologna historical center, in the area surrounding Piazza Maggiore (S. Petronio church - one of the most important churches of the world -, Palazzo D’Accursio, Museo Morandi, Palazzo Re Enzo, Museo Civico), Piazza Nettuno with the beautiful fount(hidden)y Gianbologna and the former Sala Borsa, seat of an important multimedia library, and the Two towers, dating back to 1100. This is the fulcrum of the city and in the vicinity is a myriad of alleys with colorful street markets, pubs, trendy nightspots and typical or historical shops. Close to the apartment is an elegant restaurant, renowned for char-grilled fish and meat, one of the most famous bar-patisseries of Bologna, various shops (among which a pharmacy at the corner with Via Ugo Bassi) and a supermarket at about 200 m. Public transportation: In Piazza Malpighi and in Via Ugo Bassi there area various bus stops, leading directly to the Exhibition Hall or to Bologna train station. Parking: The apartment is within the restricted traffic area (ZTL) and an access ticket is requested. You may park in the street, on the places indicated with blue stripes, free of charge on Sundays and every night from 20:00 to 8:00; and upon payment (red parking meter) during the day. Another option is the garage of Piazza Galileo 5 (access from Piazza Roosevelt) and the one of Via Barberia 13, very close to the apt. Here you may also fill a form to get access to the restricted traffic area. Important: guests must pay a tourism tax, which is not included in the price. € 4,60 per person per night. The fee is only applied to the first 5 nights. Pets: Pets are allowed (€ 20+VAT per night, limited to the first 5 nights). Please be aware that HousingAnywhere is an online booking platform. How to book this property

When you find a property you like it's fairly simple to make a booking. Both the tenant and the landlord need to confirm before completing a booking. This is how it works:

  1. Select your dates to check for availability.
  2. Contact the landlord by clicking on the contact button.
  3. Introduce yourself to the landlord. Ask any questions you might have.
  4. When you are ready to book, send a booking request.
  5. When the landlord approves and the payment is completed, you have successfully booked the property.

You don’t need to perform a viewing on HousingAnywhere, here's why:

  1. All of the properties on HousingAnywhere have pictures and a clear description. If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the landlord.
  2. Restricting viewings provides equal chances for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad.
  3. HousingAnywhere makes sure the property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the landlord after you have successfully moved in.
After you have made a booking, the contact details of the landlord will be shared with you. You can get in touch with the landlord directly, or keep using the HousingAnywhere chat. All the successive rental costs can be paid securely through HousingAnywhere.
