It is located on the second floor, with an elevator. Apartment Torre is a small studio apartment located in the heart of the historic center of Florence, located in the pedestrian-only district about twenty meters from the Piazza Del Duomo and Giotto’s Campanile. The apartment is in a historic building built in the 1200s, which once housed the workshops of famous artists Donatello and Michelozzo. A historic marker on the building reads, “That within these walls, like brothers, the sculptors practiced and refined their trade.” During a recent renovation, traces of doorways and windows have been uncovered that date back to the original “Tower Houses” of the 1200s. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE - - The monthly rent is € 790, but if the booking period is less than three months there is a 10% increase in the price - For utility costs, each apartment has its own meters for reading. Always, before entering, I specify that consumption is calculated between 3.5 and 8.5 euros per day depending on how the utilities are used, especially in the summer for air conditioning. - The security deposit depends on the period of stay, minimum of € 300 for one month to € 600 for longer periods - Once a week there is a change of linen, sheets, and towels € 15 per person.
