🏡Apartment - Galleria del Toro - Bologna🏡 Bright and modern apartment of about 50 sqm with one bedroom, located on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of a nice building steps from Piazza Maggiore and the most interesting sights of Bologna city centre. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns. ​ The apartment has been fully renovated in September 2016 and features carefully selected, top-quality materials and finishings. Air conditioning is provided in all rooms, whilst the big windows, coming complete with electric shutters, make the rooms extremely comfortable and bright. Although being located at the crossroad with Via Ugo Bassi and Piazza Malpighi, a key hub for public transports in Bologna, the state-of-the-art windows and doors guarantee peace and quietness to our guests. The apartment stands apart for the minimalist but elegant gray and white furniture, which creates a modern but relaxing environment. Upon entering, the guests are welcomed into a small anteroom leading either into the living area or the master bedroom. The sitting room also comprises a big sofa bed able to sit up to 3 people, a modern round dining table for 2 people and a 32” flat screen TV set. The brand-new open plan kitchen offers refined white cupboards and comes with the most modern appliances, such as electric oven, induction hobs and dishwasher. The spacious bedroom, decorated in white hues, is furnished with a double bed (which can be split into 2 single beds upon request), a wardrobe and a big chest of drawers. The bathroom, fitted with light brown ceramic tiles, is equipped with a spacious floor-level shower stall and washing machine: take care of yourself and offer you some self indulgence in such a relaxing atmosphere. The rental price includes the initial and the final cleaning, the rent, the condominium expenses, Italian taxes (television and garbage), WiFi internet and bills. For electricity, in particular, we include a forfait of € 100 per month. Only if you exceed this forfait, you would have to pay the difference. Area: The apartment is located within Bologna city centre, steps from the city’s main square, Piazza Maggiore (some of the sights around: the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the most important churches in the world, Palazzo Accursio, Palazzo Re Enzo, Morandi as well as the Civic Museum), Piazza Nettuno - famous for the stunning fountain of the artist Gianbologna - the Salaborsa, a state-of-the-art multimedia library, and the Two Towers, dating back to 1100. You are right at the heart of the city and all around is a maze of incredible streets and alleyways, filled with pubs, trendy clubs, typical and historical shops. Don’t miss the famous Mercato delle Erbe (a traditional street market), where you don’t only buy some local groceries, but you can also stop in one of the many restaurants standing around and taste the local mouthwatering cuisine. Moments from the apartment is Via del Pratello, one of the main meeting points for young people in Bologna. Public transportation: The Via Ugo Bassi and Via Marconi (next to the apartment) bus stops allow guests to reach the train station, the Fiera di Bologna and the main hospitals of the city in no time. Parking: The building is located within a pedestrian and restricted-traffic area (ZTL) and an access ticket is requested. You may park in the street (for example in Piazza Roosevelt), on the places indicated with blue stripes, free of charge on Sundays and every night from 20:00 to 8:00; and upon payment (red parking meter) during the day. Other options are the garage Riva Reno (Via Azzo Gardino 61b), the one of Piazza Galileo 5 and the one of Via Barberia 13. In any of them you may also fill a form to get access to the ZTL. Information on Bologna’s traffic patterns: Visitors who stay for prolonged periods of time (more than 3 months), can request a permit to access Bologna’s historic center by car. For shorter stays, the City permits car access to the historic center only 3 days per month. Important: guests must pay a tourism tax, which is not included in the price. € 4,60 per person per night. The fee is only applied to the first 5 nights. Pets: Pets are allowed (€ 20+VAT per night, limited to the first 5 nights). Please be aware that HousingAnywhere is an online booking platform.
