The space This 1925-built classic Berlin "Altbau" apartment has high ceilings and original parquet floors thoughout. It has just been extensively renovated to create a brand new modern open plan feel inclusive of the kitchen, living and dining space. The apartment comes with two large size bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. The laundry area includes a washing machine, dryer and storage space. The apartment is 110m2 (1184sqf), located on the ground floor half way up. there are 6 steps to climb at the building entrance. The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots and pans, crockery and cutlery and other utensils, as well as a food processor, Nespresso machine, toaster, juicer, kettle, tea pot and baking dishes. The kitchen also includes a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and oven. Fast wifi is installed (up to 500mbit). Each of the three bedrooms have double windows and eternal shutters. This helps minimise any noises from the street. All bedrooms look over towards small garden plots. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The apartment is equipped with towels, bathmats and sheets, and pillows and duvets. The rear of the apartment looks over the private garden where one can enjoy the green space. It is especially convenient if you have children. Right out the front of the apartment is a bus stop (M45 Kirschenallee) that will have you in into the city centre (city west, Kurfürstendamm) in 25 minutes. The closest supermarket (Edeka) is a short 10 minute walk away. When you apply for this apartment, please send the following information; 1. Please introduce yourself and explain why you need to rent the apartment for a fixed time. 2. Advise how many people in total will stay (maximum 4). 3. Advise if you will consider extending the stay. 4. Advise if you are moving permanently to Berlin or just need the apartment for a fixed time. 5. Send through a copy of your work contract, recent pay slip and proof you are able to pay the first months rent and bond. 6. Advise whether you are on probation or not. 6. If you can provide a copy of your Schufa, please send it through. Once we are satisfied with your information we will send you confimation through the housing anywhere website, you are then required to pay the first months rent and then , separately pay the security bond into our bank account. How rent is calculated
Daily basis
This listing’s rent is calculated on a daily basis. For the first and last months of your stay, you’ll only pay for the exact number of days in your rental period — just like a hotel. We call this a Daily contract type. To confirm your rental, you’ll need to pay one month’s rent in full. Any excess rent you pay for the first month will be subtracted from the next month’s rent.
