The name Landstraße means "country road". To the tourists, it is mostly known for the 18th-century castle and gardens of Belvedere, the residence of Eugene of Savoy, which today houses the Austrian Gallery. Another residence was built by the Russian envoy to Vienna, Count Razumovsky. There is a tram stop of lines 1 and O located just at the corner of the street, connecting you to the Hauptbahnhof in one direction, to the city center, along the Ring road of the old city in the other. The road intersects with the m(hidden)elt road (Landstrasse Guertel), which also allows easy access for guests who are arriving by cars. Our guests will find a range of restaurants, cafes and bars all around the apartment. Around the corner from the apartment is Hotel Daniel, which is one of the popular meeting places amongst the local for breakfast or brunch.
