With a heavy heart, time has come for me to leave my great room and WG in beautiful Ottakring, where I had a wonderful time doing my internship here in Vienna as a Master student. The room is 18sqm and comes with all furniture shown in the photos, including bed, mattress, wardrobe, cupboards, smart tv set, shelves, table lamp, pin board, desk and chair. All given for a small transfer fee of 200€ . So you can easily move with only your suitcase! The room itself is quite bright thanks to the two big west facing windows (remote controlled shutters), and gets sun during the afternoon time. As the room faces the backside of the inner block courtyard, it makes it generally quite during the day and night, which is a great plus if you are working/studying from home. The location of the flat is quite fantastic on all aspects. Firstly, it very well connected to public transport. U3 is only 2min walk from the doorstep, where it takes just 15min for you to be in the city centre. Bus stations are also 1min walk away, on the opposite side of the street. Also, other connections to Sbahn and trams are just around the corner. Secondly, the location is very well serviced. For groceries, Billa supermarket is just on the ground floor, Hoffer and Spar are 3 min walk, and Merkur is a 5 min walk. Plus, a 1min walk away gas station is open 24/7, in case you forgot to buy something on the weekend :). As well, many nice restaurants and a lot of shops can be found on Thaliastraße and Ottakringerstraße , both of which are a 5min walk. Since our fourth flat mate has also left recently, another new flat mate will be joining us next month. At the moment lives John, Nima, and me. We are definitely not a purpose WG. John (25), is a chef from Ireland. Quite a social guy, fun to hang around and play board games. Nima (35) from Austria, works at a restaurant as well and knows a lot of fun facts and history. Both are very kind, relaxed and appreciate good times cooking, drinking, and watching TV in our big living room and kitchen, where all the magic happens. We try to limit invitations and large gatherings in the flat during the covid times, and keep it to a very few close friends. Also, we keep everything in the flat clean and tidy on daily basis, and would be happy to welcome a similar mindset...

If you're ready to rent, here’s what to do:
At HousingAnywhere, in-person viewings are not supported — so everyone has an equal chance to rent, no matter where you are in the world. To help you make an informed decision, we recommend:

Once your rental is confirmed, we’ll share the landlord’s contact info so you can arrange your move-in.
Tenant Protection is our service to help you rent with peace of mind. We hold all payments you make through our platform before move-in, including the first month's rent and any deposit. After you arrive, you have 48 hours to check that the place is as you expected. We only send your money to the landlord if everything is okay.
