Es befindet sich in der Sterngasse, der ältesten Straße von Stadtzentrum, direkt unter dem berühmten “Stift Melk”. Das historische Gebäude diente ab dem 16. Jahrhundert als Klostertaverne. Im Jahre 2019 wurde das ehemalige Hotel “Goldener Stern” komplett umgebaut und neue Apartments errichtet. Alle Apartments sind hochwertig und modern eingerichtet, verfügen über voll ausgestattete Küchen, eigenes WC und Badezimmer, Flachbild TV in jedem Zimmer und natürlich kostenfreies W-Lan im gesamten Haus. Alle Apartments bieten Blick auf die Altstadt oder einen direkten Blick auf das berühmte Stift Melk. Einige Apartments verfügen über einen eigenen Balkon und einige haben eine Klimaanlage. Die Unterkunft liegt in unmittelbarer nähe zum Donauradweg und bietet Unterstand für ihre Fahrräder. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Die Schiffsanlegestelle ist nur 300 Meter entfernt. Der Bahnhof ca. 300m und die Autobahnauffahrt liegt in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
