Short term rentals are possible, but due to the fees of the platform, I only rent out per month, and never per week or day. About us: I am a student writing my master’s thesis while already having a full time job for which I have to get up early sometimes. The second housemate (f) is studying two majors and therefore quite busy. Both of us are rather calm, friendly and always happy to share a meal or a coffee in the kitchen. Our new housemate would ideally share the ideals of cleanliness and mutual respect. Since I spent 2 exchange semesters abroad myself (Canada, France), I feel that I might know what exchange students need and I am happy to answer any questions about the city and the university of Vienna. I speak German, English and French fluently. About the room: We offer a calm and clean environment for a student who takes his/her studies seriously. I offer the use of furniture, kitchenware, bedding and sheets to my housemates because from my own experience as a former Erasmus student, it is very practical to not having to buy all those things. It would be possible to hire a cleaning lady once a week for 20-30 € if wished for. Our place is close to downtown Vienna and located near an U3 metro station. There are lots of supermarkets and other stores within 3 Minutes of walking. The airport is easy to reach, the journey takes about 30 minutes by public train. The room itself is quite spacious and has a window out to a green courtyard where no traffic is passing by, so the place is very calm and green despite being in the middle of the city. There's a bicycle storage, too. ----------------------------------------- Disponibilité de la chambre : La chambre est normalement louée à un/e étudiant/e en échange pour une année ou un semestre. Une location à court terme est possible également, mais seulement par mois et non pas par semaine ou par jour. La raison pour cette restriction sont les frais à payer à la plateforme. Les colocataires: Je suis une étudiante en train d'écrire un mémoire de Master en lettres françaises. En même temps, j'ai un emploi à temps plein dans un bureau de géomètres pour lequel je me lève tôt le matin pendant la semaine. L'autre colocataire (fem.) étudie dans deux filières d'étude et est assez occupée. Idéalement, notre nouveau colocataire partage les valeurs de la propreté et du respect mutuel. Du fait que j'ai passé deux semestres en échange au Canada et en France, je crois connaître les besoins des étudiants en échange et je suis prête à aider et à répondre aux questions concernant la ville et l'Université de Vienne. Je parle Allemand, Anglais et Français couramment. La chambre : Nous proposons un environnement calme et propre à un/e étudiant/e qui prend ses études au sérieux. L’utilisation des meubles, de la batterie de cuisine et des draps est inclue. De mon propre expérience en tant qu’étudiante en Erasmus, c’est pratique si l’on n’a pas besoin d’acheter ces choses. Si nécessaire, on peut engager une femme de ménage pour 20-30 € par venue. Notre appartement est très proche du centre-ville et à une station de métro (U3). Aux alentours, il y a plein de supermarchés et d’autres magasins. L’aéroport est à 30 minutes en train public. La chambre est spacieuse et sa fenêtre donne sur une cour avec des arbres – aucune voiture passe près des fenêtres de notre appartement. Ainsi, les environs sont calmes et verts bien qu’ils se trouvent au centre de la ville de Vienne....
