My wife and I are originally from Berlin, where we lived in Kreuzberg, Friedenau and Zehlendorf and witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. We then moved to Switzerland in 2005 and worked there until our retirement in August 2024. Since January 2025, we have been living in Amsterdam near our daughter and granddaughter. As we have not returned to our beautiful top-floor apartment in Berlin as we had once planned, our apartment is now available for temporary use.
