But please remember on Sundays all shops are closed. We can also recommend the bakery and Café anThalia 67 which is located down the street at Thaliastrasse. They also offer a really nice breakfast buffet daily. Literally just around the corner is the Pizzeria Pizza-Eck. We have come to love this place because they offer a high quality and delicious pizza for a very good price (especially for lunch between 12:00 and 14:00). A very nice Café and restaurant is located at Schuhmeier Platz, called Schuhmeier. Enjoy your coffee, dinner or lunch there any day. 🚇 For public transport, you have a few options: - METRO LINE U3 OTTAKRING: This is our preferred option as it brings you very quickly to the main shopping street of the city (Mariahilfer Straße), into the city centre and to Wien Mitte which connects nicely to the airport. - METRO LINE U6 THALIASTRASSE: A little bit further away, but the U6 connects you directly to Wien Westbahnhof (beginning of the shopping street Mariahilfer Straße) and to Millennium City (Handelskai). - TRAM LINE NR 46: The tram also brings you directly to the city centre with the added benefit that you get a good impression of the city while going to the centre. 📱Please be aware that HousingAnywhere is an online booking platform.
