Please read the ad carefully before responding. In my renovated duplex in the city centre, I have a spacious furnished room available. The room is only suitable for someone who temporarily needs a place for work or an internship (no full-time students or job seekers). The room is in first instance available for the month of February. When we get along, the period can be extended until the end of June 2025 at the latest. The room is for one person only. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, two toilets, and a bathroom with a washing machine and dryer (there is no shared living room). You will only share the house with me and my cat. The room is clean and tidy (as is the house), fully furnished, and includes towels and bedding. It is located in a relatively quiet street, just a 10-minute walk from the central station. The price is broken down as follows: €610 basic rent (calculated according to point system) €100 advance payment for gas, water, and electricity with normal usage (€200 advance for two-person occupancy) €28 for internet & TV per month (€56 per month total) €45 cleaning service every 10 days (€90 per month total) €15 contribution for household supplies (e.g., toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies) (€30 per month total) €40 depreciation for furniture, towels, and bedding If you go home every weekend, you will receive a discount. The same applies if you are away for at least one full week due to (school) holidays. This is not a student or party house, so there are house rules. I am looking for a quiet, tidy housemate who doesn’t smoke and has a normal work schedule. The room is not suitable for night owls or people who work irregular hours. Are you vegetarian or vegan? That’s a plus. Interested in the room? Please send a clear email with details about yourself: your age, where you work or do your internship, your daily routine, whether you are vegetarian or vegan, whether you go home every weekend, and any other relevant information (e.g., hobbies). I will not respond to unclear messages. An employer’s statement and/or pay slip may be requested. A deposit is mandatory...

If you're ready to rent, here’s what to do:
At HousingAnywhere, in-person viewings are not supported — so everyone has an equal chance to rent, no matter where you are in the world. To help you make an informed decision, we recommend:
Use the ‘Message landlord’ button to start a secure conversation on our platform. You can ask questions, discuss terms, and safely exchange documents.
Keeping your conversation on HousingAnywhere protects your privacy and helps you avoid scams. All your messages are also saved in one place for easy access and as a record of your agreements.
Once your rental is confirmed, we’ll share the landlord’s contact info so you can arrange your move-in.
Tenant Protection is our service to help you rent with peace of mind. We hold all payments you make through our platform before move-in, including the first month's rent and any deposit. After you arrive, you have 48 hours to check that the place is as you expected. We only send your money to the landlord if everything is okay.
Watch this short video to see all the ways we keep you safe, from secure payments to support with finding a new place. For more details, you can also read about Tenant Protection.
