1. Why are you now charging me commission?

We at HousingAnywhere.com are continually striving to provide the best possible platform for landlords and property managers, as well as for tenants. We’ve already made some significant investment to improve the speed of our platform both on desktop and mobile, as well as the updated calendar functionality. We’ll be releasing even more features throughout the year!

To keep improving the user experience and performances on the platform we’ll now be charging a service fee of 25% of the first months rent for bookings made from April 1st 2018.

2. How is the commission fee calculated?

We keep it really simple. The commission fee is 25% of the first month's rent. If you rent out a room for 500 euros a month, the commission fee will be 500 * 25% = 125 euros.

3. How do I pay my commission fees?

You don’t have to worry about paying your commission fees. HousingAnywhere simply deducts them from the payout of the first month's rent.

If you rent out a room for 500 euros, HousingAnywhere will deduct 125 euros from the payout of the first month's rent.

4. Where can I find information about commission fees on your website?

First, go to your HousingAnywhere profile and click on “Billing”: www.housinganywhere.com/my/billing This is where you can see your commission plan as well as fill-in your legal details such as your address or your VAT number if you are a business.

5. If I already had a booking, do I still get the first booking for free?

Yes you do! Your first booking after the update of our Terms & Conditions remains free of charge, even if you've had completed bookings with us in the past.

6. Does the 25% commission also apply to the utilities?

Yes, the 25% commission applies on the total rental price you charge the tenant on HousingAnywhere.

7. Does the commission fee include VAT?

The VAT on commission fees will be added on top of it onto your invoices. If you are VAT exempt, please update your billing details on www.housinganywhere.com/my/billing

8. What if the tenant leaves earlier?

The commission fee is based on the first-month rent only and not on the length of the stay. You are not charged extra for longer reservations.

9. When will I be charged?

Our new pricing structure starts from 1st of April. The first reservation will be free and you will then be charged on your second booking onwards.

10. Where can I find my invoices?

You can find and download your invoices from the billing section of your HousingAnywhere account: www.housinganywhere.com/my/billing
