I came to Berkeley in the early 70s to go to graduate school, and bought my home here in the early 90s. I had my own technical writing and editing business for many years, and now I'm a full-time landlord with four carefully curated apartments in older buildings. One of my sons lives in British Columbia, Canada, and the other in Portland, Oregon. I love gardening, reading, travelling, and my friends and family.
