Our landlord gives us perks you wouldn’t see anywhere. The room has it's own private courtyard, and private ensuite, and the house itself is pretty awesome. Our landlord has been giving anyone staying in the house all costs covered weekend speed boat trips, Hunter Valley trips, kayaking days and a whole bunch of other stuff (which everyone in the house gets once every 2nd month we're in the house) because he can access it cheaply via his online business.... No extra costs, courtesy of the landlord for house socialising once every 2 months have included: ­ -A weekend trip to the Hunter Valley ­ -Rock climbing night ­ -Paddle boarding or kayaking around Sydney Harbour ­ -A speed boat trip around Sydney Harbour ­ -Vivid festival cruise around Sydney Harbour ­-Go karting day What the? Why does staying in a house include such things? Our landlord says he offers this because he wants to help us flatmates: ­ get to know one another­ to be able to experience some of the best Sydney has to offer ­ and because he felt the other places in the city offered a pretty crappy experience with over-crowded houses and little fun. So if we're not doing a cook at home, this makes for awesome days out together as a group of housemates and is included for FREE.
