Bright, clean and fully furnished room for interns or students in a quiet, huge and central flat in a green, secure and though centrical and very well connected area (one of the best districts). The flat offers a balcony, a sunny kitchen, a bright bathroom with a bath tub and shower, wifi, etc. --------- We are looking for a new nice flatmate :) Preferably someone doing an internship or some other temporary work stay - or maybe Erasmus ;) Until now I, the main tenant, was renting this room mainly via other shared flat platforms. I was Superhost on another famous platform and could send you reviews from recent flatmates in case of interest... You'll find more about me and the other flatmate(s) below! --------- The flat is recently renovated, modern and well located (110 square meters, in one of the best and safest districts - nice people living around, centrical, well connected and though quiet and green). Around the flat there is no street, it's just green with lawn and huge beautiful trees. And there is a sunny and comfortable room available for rent :) The room to rent is on the in the morning sunny eastside of the flat, has a green courtyard in front of it (like a jungle in summer!) and is completely and comfortably furnished (big bed, closet, writing desk, etc. - even a sink inside!). The bed is not placed directly on the floor, it's just a low bed ;) There's a recently bought very good quality mattress topper placed additionally on the mattress, which makes it even more comfortable. Besides the room there's a kitchen incl. dishwasher in the flat, a bathroom incl. bath tub and shower, an anteroom, a nice sunny balcony with green view, another room to let, my own rooms and wireless internet. So the flat is big and comfortable - and located inside a big green courtyard with several houses which is closed at night for increased security (but you will have a key, no worries ;)). All around the flat it's green and quiet as is the area around the flat in general (perfect for running, walks in parks or also photo shooting of beautiful houses). Though the next underground station, trams and buses are just a 2 minutes walk away around the corner and the center is very near. I'm the main tenant of the flat and enjoy very much living there - if not travelling or visiting my parents in Tirol :) I'm very organized and respectful as regards noise, cleanliness, privacy, etc. And I hope for the same from my flat mates :) Still I'm not boring and like to go to party on weekends - outside the flat ;) I speak German, Spanish and English. More about me below! There is another third private room in the flat (also with green view - see photos) which I usually also rent for several months. I rent that room just to very nice and reliable people like mainly students doing internship or exchange semester, or young graduates coming for a temporary workstay abroad (just normal longer term rent, no touristic short term rent!). If you're female, I'll try to rent the other room also to someone female so that you have female company. Although I also enjoy my privacy, I don't rent the rooms just to have them rented, so having nice (temporary) flat mates and a good atmosphere is important for me, don't worry! You won't feel like in a hotel, and also not like just being a guest in someone else's house. It's actually like a shared flat, but not messy and with enough privacy and space given ;) As the flat is huge with well separated private rooms (no common walls in between sleeping rooms! Luxury!) and I care much for mutual respect and cleanliness, you will have all your privacy and a comfortable, relaxing place. At the same time you will normally not be left completely alone for long in case of any problems or if you need company for going for a drink or eat out! Also the very nice owners of the flat live near in case of any problem if ever I'm on holiday or in Tirol or so. --- About me, the main tenant, and the other flatmate(s): I'm originally from Tyrol (the famous mountainous area of Austria), but my first job after universtity brought me to Austria's capital Vienna. And luckily I found this very nice and well located flat perfect for sharing :) For me it's the best possible area and flat to live in Vienna. I was as an Erasmus student in Madrid and did an internship in Barcelona during my studies of International Economics and Business. Currently I'm working in online marketing related to travelling and I like to travel myself, so I'm always interested in getting to know travellers and having some travel talks! Besides I like music (sometimes I'm DJ), reading, watching series, online marketing, going out, good food, airplanes, Spain, Asia, my origin Tyrol... I speak German, Spanish, and English. Until now I was renting this room mainly via other shared flat platforms, from where I could send you reviews in case of interest... I had the pleasure to live in Barcelona for a while and rented a room there once, that's why I could send you references from there, too. --- Please check if the following "house rules" are okay (or hopefully even make sense) for you: - We do have a "cleaning plan", but it's quite liberal. Around every two weeks one of us is responsible for the cleaning of the common rooms and bringing out the separate garbage (I'll explain you this and other flat details after arrival). - Let's try to keep the Coronavirus out of the flat and warn each other in case that ever symptoms come up - No smoking or animals in the flat (also no smoking on the balcony or out of the window to not disturb the flat owners or neighbours) - Always leave common spaces, dishes, etc. clean for the others and treat the flat and flat mates with respect :) - No moving around or addition of furniture please! Both the furniture and the floor are sensitive. If you move them around, they might get loose and damaged and the room should stay as it is. Especially the closet is fragile, it's decorative plastic "windows" break easily, for example ;) - Make sure to throw away things that you brought to the flat and that you won't take with you when moving out in time before your departure (in the garbage or disposal facility they belong to...). - No pinning of posters, picture frames, post-its or the like on the walls. The walls are very delicate, I just recently fixed them, so please make sure to keep them white and harmless. If you put up your feet with damp socks, for ex., they will probably get coloured ;) - Nighttime peace: Please be as quiet as possible from 23h on and try to use the bathroom before (as the running water can be quite noisy when one of us wants to sleep) - at least if you see that one of us is trying to sleep ;) - Please help keep the flat tidy and don't leave dirt to others (clean up crumbles and dishes after eating, help with switching on or unloading the dishwasher, and the like) - Please close the entrance door silently (not with force, but using your key) and always lock it turning the key twice (also when we're home - it's a good security door but just when locked properly). Also close the windows, balcony door blinds, etc. when we're all out of the house for reasons of security. - Never leave the key in the entrance door as it locks the others out then ;) Also never go out without keys (not even when you just go to the mailbox!) - the entrance door easily closes by itself. Happened already that a flat mate spent a cold afternoon outside because of locking himself out :) - Never carry the keys together with the address of the flat for the case of loss of the keys or a stolen hand bag! - Internet: no illegal downloads and filesharing please! - The other private rooms must not be accessed, as normal ;) - Frequent guests are not allowed unless with prior approval (especially during COVID...)! The room is rented to 1 person and the flat is meant for being used by principally max. 3 persons in 3 rooms for questions of space, security and running costs. If you're staying long-term and ever want your visiting boyfriend / girlfriend from abroad stay with you for a few days, we can talk about it for sure! It has to be okay for everyone in the flat and if it's for more than a weekend the guest usually has to pay a contribution to the running costs of 15€ per night. If you ever find a nice (and trustworthy!) lover in Vienna and take good care of him/her during a spontaneous visit, it's okay though ;) - Please be careful to not bring insects like bedbugs home when you travel while your stay in Vienna (always carefully check recent reviews of hotels or other accommodations you're planningn to stay, check your luggage after traveling and try to avoid cheapeast places or mountain huts). I mention this because nowadays, with more and more travelling going on, there are more and more problems with it - more likely in cheap hostels or mountain huts, but it can also happen in expensive hotels. Having to decontaminate the flat would be very difficult and unpleasant ;) A nice flatmate once went to visit Prague and luckily I asked her to check the reviews of the cheap hostel she was going to book, because we found out then that several guests of that hostel mentioned bedbugs... She booked another (good) accommodation then, don't worry :) - In case of loss of the keys or any damages in the flat, you have to cover the costs (new keys are quite expensive - around 50 Euros - in Vienna, and if I have to change the locker of the entrance door for security reasons the cost will be higher). So please always take very good care of your keys (for the sake of us all) - even though Vienna is a very safe city, there's still thieves in busy students bars or wardrobes etc. sometimes.....
