Fully furnished and equipped private apartment, right at the heart of the historic centre of Amsterdam and Red Light district, with beautiful views (top floor), and just 4 min walking from Central Station. Rental price including all bills, taxes, internet, and furniture 1700€. Our 2 room apartment has a living room with the greatest view on 'the Kolk' and on the St Nichalas churg, with a quiet big bedroom at the back of the house. The apartment is perfect for a couple or two people who don't mind sleeping in the same bed. While the bed room is rather quiet and cool (especially for the area we live in) our house is located on a busy street with many cafes under and next to our house. Open a window and you hear the buzzing sounds of the city. The kitchen is basic but fully equipped. The same accounts for the bathroom. There are also towels and bedlinnen (lits jumeaux size!) available for your use. The house was recently renovated but it's still an old canal house. The neighborhood really is the coolest in Amsterdam. The oldest house in Amsterdam (1485) was built just around the corner (Warmoesstraat 85) and walking here you can really feel how it was centuries ago. In the same street there is our favourite grocery store (the Dirk), although the Albert Heijn (more expensive but also very good) is not far from the central station as well. The entire city centre is close by, museums and churches within walking distance. So are the main shopping streets and bars. Our apartment is situated at the (relatively quiet) start of the famous red light district. Central station (w/ metro's, trams, busses and the boats to Amsterdam North) is 4-8 minutes by foot. There aren't many parking spots around, and if there is place available it is very expensive. Next to this: between 8 pm and 7 am cars are not allowed in the streets. It would be best to leave your care at a P+R site just outside the city, from where a tram takes you directly to our place. Monthly price is including all service costs and taxes and bills, and high speed internet (200mbit), an Apple TV and flatscreen TV for you to stream your favourite content such as Netflix.
