A charming apartment (5 rooms), fully furnished and equipped, on the ground floor and first level of an old canal house, in the historic centre of Leiden. With a large cozy living kitchen in old Dutch style, from which you have a nice view into a very romantic street ‘de Hoefstraat’. On the ground Floor there are also two sleeping rooms, a toilet and a nice bathroom (with a bad). On the first level you have a very light living room, from which you have a view over the street at the other side of the house ‘de Jan van Houtkade’, along the canal. Very special on this level is our ‘silent-box’, a box which you can totally close to be alone, and rest, sleep, dream in a hammock, work, listen to the music, meditate, doing yoga or whatever you like. Shops, musea, restaurants, a parking garage and public transport (bus and train) are at walking distance. You will walk along the famous canalstreet ‘Rapenburg’ within a few minutes and at the same distance you will find several city parks (Plantsoen, van de Werf park and the very new city park at the Garenmarkt almost behind our house).
